Australian batter Travis Head smashed a brilliant hundred during the IND vs AUS 2nd Test. Head played an innings of 140 runs from 141 balls. His innings included 17 fours and four sixes and batted with a strike rate of 99.29. The left-handed batter led Australia’s aggressive approach on Day 2 of IND vs AUS 2nd Test which has really setup the tone of the match. While, Head was looking very dangerous, it didn’t look like he will get out. However, Mohammed Siraj had different plans wherein he cleaned up the inform Australian batter with a brilliant yorker. The Indian pacer was pumped up and fully charged up.
Mohammed Siraj is always known to be very aggressive on the field. The latter wants the ball to do some talking and always has some conversation with the batter as well. Siraj was very aggressive after dismissing Travis Head and gave him an angry send-off. The right-handed Indian pacer exchanged a few words with Head while he was going back and the Australian batter also said something while he was going back to the dressing room.
Getting back to the match, Australia didn’t start off well on Day 2 when they lost two quick wickets in the form of Nathan McSweeney and Steve Smith. Jasprit Bumrah provided the Indian team with the much needed breakthrough. However, Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head put up a decent partnership and put back the pressure back on the visistors. Labuschagne was dismissed by Nitish Kumar Reddy. Head began the real attack after the dismissal of Labuschagne and smashed the fastest hundred in any d/n Test. At Dinner, Australia have achieved a score of 332/8 in 82 overs and currently lead by 152 runs.
