Kangra (Himachal Pradesh): Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama said that he prefers India to China and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, which was former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s choice, is his permanent residence.
Asked about his message to China in the wake of the clash between the Indian and Chinese troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang border on December 9, Dalai Lama said that he prefers India to China and this is the best place to live in. He added that there is no point in returning to China.
Further replying to a query on situation in China’s for settling, the spiritual leader said, the situation is improving and it is becoming more flexible
“Things are improving. In Europe, Africa and also in Asia. China is also more flexible now. But no point in returning to China. I prefer India. That’s the best place. Kangra- Pandit Nehru’s choice, this place is my permanent residence,” said Lama.
