Harry and Meghan Netflix docuseries: UK broadcaster Piers Morgan’s EXPLOSIVE take on show. A thread

The latest show on British royalty Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle – Harry and Meghan – has started streaming on Netflix today, December 8. The first volume of three episodes is available for viewing today, while a a second batch of three episodes will start streaming on December 15. Already a controversial figure among the UK royal family, the series had left social media divided even before release. And now, controversial British broadcaster Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to slam the show in a series of tweets.
PIERS MORGAN REVIEWS HARRY & MEGHAN
British broadcaster Piers Morgan, who is already known for his radical views on Pricne Harry and Meghan Markle took to Twitter to share a review on the show which has started streaming today. Comparing the show to something “worse than Keeping Up with The Kardashians”, he tweeted, “Something I didn’t think was humanly possible. #HarryandMeghanonNetflix”
Calling out Harry and Meghan on the show, he further tweeted, “God, they’re so boring! HarryandMeghanNetflix”, he went on to write, “Disgusting how they’re repeatedly trying to brand Britain a racist country. Most tolerant place in Europe, as all the coverage of their engagement/wedding showed. #HarryandMeghanNetflix”
The trailer of the show had Prince Harry exclaim that the two had never been allowed to tell their story until now. Piers reacted to the monologue with a series of laughter emojis, before going to slam Meghan Markle, writing, “Markle explaining why she uninvited her distraught niece to her wedding is hilarious. Ms Compassion literally binned off her own family for the likes of George Clooney, Oprah & David Beckham. #HarryandMeghanNetflix”
The series, directed by Liz Garbus offers and insight into the courtship of Prince Harry and former Suits actress, followed by their much-publicised marriage and tumultous years as senior royals. The show is currently streaming on OTT platform Netflix.
