Govinda will soon appear on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, where he will also share the screen space with his nephew and popular comedian Krushna Abhishek. For the unversed, Govinda and Krushna were not on talking terms for over seven years but have finally put their differences aside.
Govinda will appear on The Great Indian Kapil Show with Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Pandey. Krushna says, ‘We’ve met after a long time. Won’t let you go now.”
In the promo, Krushna Abhishek was dressed like a character from ‘Ali Baba And 40 Thieves’. The two share a hug as Krushna enters the stage, making Arti Singh emotional. Govinda also called Krushna ‘gadha’.
Things between Govinda and Krushna went sour when the latter joked about the actor on a comedy show in 2016. They reconciled with each other in 2024 and Govinda even attended Krushna’s sister Arti’s wedding.
Govinda was earlier in the news when he reportedly left his roadshow midway as he was feeling unwell. According to media reports, he was in Pachora for a political campaign and soon returned to Mumbai due to his health issues.
Meanwhile, Govinda was in the hospital a month ago due to his gunshot wound. After the incident, he assured his fans that he is doing well. In the note, he said, “Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam (I am Govinda. Thanks to your blessings, my parents’ blessings, and the grace of my guru, I was shot, but the bullet has been taken out. I thank the doctors here, especially Dr. Agarwal, and I appreciate all your prayers).”
He also made an appearance in front of media and thanked everyone for their love and support.
