The national capital is having various infrastructural developmental projects. Some of them are going to be get implemented this year and some are the proposed one.
There are various projects announced by Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways. The cost of the project will be Rs 12,500 crore. These projects are planned to deal with pollution and the traffic related issue.
He has also approved Rs 1,200 crore for Delhi from Central Road and Infrastructure Fund.
As quoted by Hindustan Times, Nitin Gadkari stated that, “All these projects will further enable vehicles from other states to avoid Delhi while travelling between states in all directions.”
Under these projects comes the making of route connecting Urban Extension Road-II with the Delhi-Katra Expressway. Making the vehicles to move from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the Delhi Airport.
Apart from this, comes a road connecting UER-II with the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway near the Tronica City.
Nitin Gadkari mentioned about this on his X handle. He stated that, Connecting UER-II to the Delhi-Katra Expressway through KMPE will enable direct accss for the vehicles from Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab to the Delhi Airport and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Apart from this, the direct link from UER-II near Alipur to Delhi-Dehradun Expressway near the Tronica City will facilitate the vehicles going to Dehradun from Haryana and Rajasthan.
