God, please save water, save life: Netizens make humble plea to Sachin Tendulkar on his latest Twitter post

Sachin Tendulkar is currently entertaining the fans with his batting and captaincy skills in the Road Safety Series 2022. The Master Blaster is leading India Legends in the tournament, which kicked off last week. The face of the tournament, Tendulkar captained India Legends to a win to a win in their opening game and the star-studded side is now gearing up to face West Indies Legends.
 
A day before the fixture, Tendulkar shared a special method to clean a bat’s grip. Hailed as the ‘God of Cricket’, Tendulkar gave a lesson on how clean the bat’s grip with ease. But it was the running water in the background that also caught netizens’ attention. A few users pointed it out and made a plea to the ICC Hall of Famer.
 
“God please save water save life,” a user wrote. “Save water! It’s precious ! And I will always love you!” wrote another user. 
Tendulkar-led India Legends will hit the field on Wednesday (September 14) evening and will take on West Indies Legends. Both the teams won their opening game of the season and will aim to continue their form. A win over WI will see India Legends climb to the top spot in the points table. WI are at the 3rd spot and will move to the 2nd spot if they win
Stuart Binny shone in the first game of the tournament and hit an unbeaten 82 off 42. He was well assisted by Yusuf Pathan, who smashed 35 off 15. Rahul Sharma did the job with the ball and scalped 3 wickets.
 
For WI, captain Dwayne Smith scored a half-century in the win over Bangladesh. Krismar Santokie scalped 3 wickets.
