One of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo, is celebrating his 38th birthday on Sunday (February 5). The Portuguese legend, who has played for high-profile teams like Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus in the past, now represents Al Nassr in the Saudi Professional League. On December 30, 2022, he signed a $200 million euro per year contract with the Saudi club, making him the highest-paid footballer in history.

Despite being a proud father of five children, Ronaldo is still a bachelor. He is not married yet. He lives with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, whom he met at the Gucci store in Madrid in 2017, where she was working as a shop assistant, but the couple is not married yet.
Vowed to never get tattoos
Despite being one of the most stylish footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo has zero tattoos on his body. He regularly donates blood and does not want to have to wait months after a tattoo to be able to donate.
Most number of followers on Instagram
Cristiano Ronaldo has more than 544 million followers on Instagram. He is the most followed person on the photo and video sharing platform. Apart from Instagram, Ronaldo is active on Twitter and Facebook as well, where he has 107.4 million and 161 million followers, respectively.
CR7 museum in Funchal
There’s a CR7 museum in his birthplace in Funchal, Madeira, which celebrates his career and life. Founded in 2013, at the museum, one can find photos from Cristiano’s childhood up until now, as well as the trophies and medals he won.
Named after Ronald Reagan
You might not know, but Cristiano Ronaldo was named after former US President Ronald Reagan. In an interview with GQ some time ago, he revealed that his father admired Reagen, which is why he was named after him. “My parents named me after Ronald Reagan because they both liked this name and thought it sounded strong”.
