Deepika has been married to Ranveer Singh for the last two years. They tied the knot on November 14, 2018. Ever since, fans have been impatiently waiting to hear the pregnancy news from the couple. Her public appearances have come under the scanner with everyone trying to spot a baby bump. During the Chhapaak promotions in January this year, when DP was quizzed about pregnancy, she shot back like a boss. “Do I look like a pregnant woman? I will ask you when I will plan (to have a family). If you give me permission then I will plan. If I become pregnant then you will see that in nine months,” said DP in interaction with IANS.
Anushka Sharma
Anushka officially announced that she’s pregnant, in August this year. The beauty, who has been married to Virat Kohli since 2017, has been graciously flaunting her baby bump of late. However, back in the day, she was tired of clarifying the pregnancy rumours. “I feel every female actor goes through it, so people marry you off even before you are hitched and make you a mother before you are pregnant. I don’t pay attention to it, and just laugh these things off since I find them hilarious. When I read about such stuff, I think ‘where do such absurd things come from?’ Right now, I’m literally working round-the-clock,” she had said to HT in 2018.
Priyanka Chopra
When Priyanka decided to get married to Nick Jonas within a few months of dating, speculations were rife that what if she’s pregnant. What if the hurried wedding plan is a way to break the pregnancy news. But PeeCee didn’t pay heed to any gossip and only focused on enjoying every bit of her ‘happily ever after’. Later, post her wedding, when Priyanka made her first appearance as a married woman on Ellen DeGeneres show, she was publicly asked about pregnancy and the lady decided to shut it down in style. With one swift movement: tossing back a shot of tequila, Priyanka said “cheers” and swallowed some burning alcohol live on TV, to let the world know that she’s not pregnant.

Telugu actress Samantha got married to Naga Chaitanya in October 2017. The power couple continues to set relationship goals in more ways than one but of course, they too have failed to escape the ‘pregnancy’ question. There was a time when a publication had carried a speculative story with a headline that read, “Is Samantha Akkineni pregnant?” And the Tollywood beauty had tweeted back in a rather amusing way saying, “Dammnn…..is she? Shilpa Shetty, who got married to Raj Kundra in 2009, is blessed with two kids – Viaan and Samisha. Her second child was born via surrogacy on February 15 this year. However, back in 2018, Shilpa was speculated to be pregnant when she visited a diagnostic lab carrying some reports in her hand. The paparazzi-clicked photos had created quite a stir on the internet.
