Former Member of Parliament and Senior leader of Congress Party Rashid Alvi once again slammed the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) including the Government of India (GoI) over the range of issues and blamed them of instigating communal feelings in the country.
Amidst the reports of Chinese building another bridge over the Pangong Tso lake, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that there is a problem on the border and the country needs to prepare for that and put out a tweet stating, “India’s National security & territorial integrity is non-negotiable. A timid & docile response won’t do. PM must defend the Nation.”
While defending Rahul Gandhi’s statement, Former Member of Parliament, Mr. Rashid Alvi slamming the BJP said, “Most of the senior ex-servicemen, our military officers, they have given so many statements that China has entered our territory, this is the fact. And Prime Minister saying they are not inside. So, it is the responsibility of the GoI to let the people know the truth. Definitely China is trying to enter our territory and the government is quiet and silent. PM doesn’t even bother even to condemn China neither inside nor outside the country. We trust our Army and Army is very strong but unfortunately our PM is not strong.”
While attending an event in London Rahul Gandhi also blamed the BJP government and stated that “India is not in a good place. BJP has spread kerosene all over the country. You need one spark and we’ll be in big trouble.”
However, Mr. Rashid Alvi justifying his statement raised questions on BJP in retaliation said while speaking to Times Now, “Kerosene oil means BJP and its government is spreading communal feeling all over the country, what happened in Banaras, it is the Parliamentary constituency of the PM and what is this Mandir-Masjid issue. After Babri Masjid this Banaras Masjid issue has come up. PM is again as usual is silent. Worship 91 act is already there, Supreme Court will decide that and during this time BJP is trying to spread the communal hate, why? Is it for election purpose whether is this the true nationalism?”
On Rahul Gandhi’s statement in London BJP spokesperson held a Press Conference at the BJP HQ made statements saying, “Rahul Gandhi is a habitual offender and a part time politician. Can attack BJP, but to attack India is unacceptable.”
Mr. Rashid Alvi responding to the statement of the BJP spokesperson said, “Whether we have moved any application to BJP for its approval if they do not want to approve then don’t, who is asking for their approval. Rahul Gandhi has said very truly, He added, “when our PM was in Japan when he was offering Geeta to the King made a statement that Geeta ke dene se mere desh ke secular logon me badi pareshani hogi, BJP should answer these questions on what message they want to spread”.
He also slammed the BJP on not discussing on the lines where the people of the country are struggling and stated that, “Petrol prices are going up, unempoyment is prevailing, people are struggling for food. Government needs to address these problems” He added, “When Mughals came to India from Afghanistan they had no place, no shelter. But they had built Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar kisi ki toh zameen rahi hogi yeh. You demolish all of them, but for the sake of peace of the country please don’t create such communal tension”
While speaking to Times Now, Mr. Rashid Alvi claimed that BJP never questions the British Raj and called them the slaves of the Britishers, Mr. Alvi states, “Have you noticed, any Bjp leader including our PM, RSS chief whether they have given any statement against the Bristish government, they always speak about the Mughals, but they never talk about the Britishers.” He added, “They ruled over more that 150 years, all of us were slaves, we were not slaves during the Mughal era, but during British period we were slaves, but they never speak any single word against them because before partition they were supporting them.
