Celebrities and rumours go hand-in-hand. Many stars from the film industry have to face different kinds of rumours including their love life, their death news and others. One such actor who has been the victim of his own death rumour is Fardeen Khan. The actor recently shared while speaking to a portal that he has suffered from two death hoaxes and this ‘p***ed’ him off.
Fardeen Khan disclosed that he was declared dead twice earlier and it was reported that he had died during a car accident. He further added that this ‘p***ed’ him off because if his mother would have heard the news, she would have had a heart attack. The Fida actor told Bollywood Hungama, “Twice, it had said that I had died in an accident. It pissed me off because if my mother saw it she would have a heart attack herself or if my wife knew about it or somebody else read about it. So I got irritated by the irresponsibility of that aspect of it.”
Fardeen further recalls that Arjun Rampal called him to ask if he was doing okay post the false news of his death spread out. Fardeen said, “I think it was back in the day and it was Rampal (Arjun Rampal) who called to see if I was dead or alive.”
During the interaction, he also shared his views on him bagging the Best Debut at the Filmfare Awards and said that he did not think he ‘deserved this award’. He said, “I look at my work and I definitely didn’t deserve that. The film didn’t work. I didn’t work. When I look back, I thought I was horrible. I sat at home for the whole year. I had no work. The films I had signed before that, people took their monies back.”
Son of popular actor Feroz Khan, Fardeen started his career in Bollywood with the 1998 film Prem Aggan. He then starred in movies like Heyy Babyy, Bhoot and others. His last on-screen appearance was in the 2010 movie Dulha Mil Gaya. Reportedly, the actor is all set to make a comeback in the film industry with the thriller Visfot.
