Shah Rukh Khan created a storm on the internet after he unveiled the first look of Yash Raj Film’s Pathaan. The superstar marked 30 years on June 25 in Bollywood and celebrated with the much-anticipated first motion poster of Pathaan.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan reacted to the poster and penned down an emotional note for the actor. Sharing the motion poster of the film, she wrote, “It is difficult for us to comprehend what he does outside of being a father, a husband, a friend – and the way he affects peoples lives. The only thing we understand is that he tries to work harder today than he did yesterday. #Pathaan @iamsrk.”
SRK also hosted a #AskSRK session on Instagram. He opened up on completing 30 years in the industry and said, “I didn’t know it was going to be 30 years. Aditya Chopra who loves me so much, beyond movies decided to do this. He gave me this film and I went to shoot at 4:30 PM and finished off at 8:30 am. That’s the best way to celebrate 30 years I was speaking to my wife and kids, and nobody realises the extent until I saw 30 years of Shah Rukh Khan. I never thought I will last 30 years. I came here hoping I can work here, 2 years at most, 10 films most, if things don’t work out, I’d find a job. I would find a job, always felt I would find a job in media, related to films. I always thought if I don’t make it as an actor, I will go back to doing a job in films, on the set of other actors.”
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Pathaan also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and Atlee’s Jawaan. He will be seen making a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra and in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
