Eknath Shinde finds its own ‘Sena Bhavan’ next to original building, to be ready before BMC elections

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde-led faction of Shiv Sena has found its own ‘Sena Bhavan’ in Mumbai and interestingly, it is quite close to the original building housed by Uddhav Thackeray-led group.
According to sources, Shinde’s ‘Sena Bhavan’ will be made in the Vastu Central building, which is roughly 500 metres away from the old building.
The Shinde camp has acquired four floors of the building and the office will become fully functional before the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.
According to a real estate broker from the Shivaji Park area, the ongoing rent in the area is between Rs 140-145 sq. ft, whereas fancier buildings like Kohinoor Square and Ruby Mill go at a premium, and command a higher rental value.
Meanwhile, supporters of Uddhav Thackeray’s faction of Shiv Sena created ruckus earlier today outside Dadar police station in Mumbai over the arrest of 5 of their supporters.
An altercation between two rival groups of Shiv Sena had taken place during immersion of Ganpati in Mumbai’s Dadar area.
Dadar police station arrested 5 Shiv Sena workers last night, due to which the workers of the Uddhav Thackeray faction gathered outside Dadar Police Station and created a ruckus.
Shiv sena MP from Thackeray’s faction, Arvind Sawant, alleged that “the MLA of Eknath Shinde faction, Sada Sarvankar, fired yesterday but no case was registered against him and under the pressure of the government, the police registered a case against Uddhav Thackeray’s workers and arrested them.”
Many senior Shiv Sena leaders and MPs of Uddhav’s Shiv sena, Arvind Sawant, Anil Parab, opposition leader of the Legislative Council Ambadas Danve, and former Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar reached the Dadar Police Station and protested.
They demanded that a case should also be registered against Sada Sarvankar.
