Mammootty was last seen in The Priest, which was released in theatres in 2021. He made his debut with the 1971 film Anubhavangal Paalichakal, which was directed by KS Sethumadhavan. The actor has worked in over 400 films across multiple languages. Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja actor has won three National Film Awards for Best Actor, seven Kerala State Film Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South.
On the work front, Dulquer had completed the shooting of his upcoming film Salute a couple of months ago. He will also be part of Kurup movie essaying the role of an underworld don (Sukumara Kurup) who is a notorious criminal. This Malayalam thriller is being directed by Srinath Rajendran and has Sobhitha Dhulipalla as the lead actress.
On other hand, Mammootty has been waiting for the release of Bheeshma Parvam. The gangster-drama stars Mammootty in the titular role. The movie also features actors Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Farhaan Faasil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in important roles. He is currently shooting for Puzhu with Parvathy and Pathaam Valavu.
