Did CSA get curators from Bangladesh: Fans troll Bangladesh on social media after shock collapse in 1st Test

South Africa folded Bangladesh for just 53 runs in the second innings of the Durban Test to go 1-0 up in the two-match Test series. Playing in the absence of the majority of the Test regulars, the hosts produced an outstanding show in the first session of the fourth day and it took them just 13 overs to crush the Asian side, which was high on confidence after beating the hosts in the three-match ODI series.
Chasing a target of 274 to win, Bangladesh started the day on 11 for 3 and lost the senior batter, Mushfiqur Rahim, on the fifth ball of the day. Keshav Maharaj, the South African left-arm orthodox bowler, trapped him in front of the wickets. The 32-year-old then got rid of Liton Das in his next over and followed it up with the wicket of Yasir Ali in his third over of the day.
Maharaj’s opening bowling partner, Simon Harmer, also joined the party and removed Mehidy Hasan for a duck. He then made it 50 for 8 when he dismissed Najmul Hossain Shanto. Maharaj then sealed the game for the hosts by getting the last two wickets.
It was a shocking collapse against the South African spinners, who took all ten wickets in the second innings. The tourists put up a strong show in the first innings when they made 298 in response to SA’s 367, but what happened in the second essay left everyone surprised.
And as the Test got over, fans started trolling Bangladesh on social media platforms for a horror show against the second-string side.
South Africa is without the services of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, Rassie Van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Marco Jansen, and Dwaine Pretorius for the two-match Test series at home against Bangladesh. The players have opted to travel to India and play for their respective franchises in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, which is taking place across four venues in Maharashtra
