Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actress Dia Mirza surprised us all when she shared photos from her intimate wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi. The duo got married on February 15, 2021, and their photo album was just magical. Days after their wedding, Dia and Vaibhav head to the Maldives with the latter’s daughter Samaira.
At the vacation, not only did Dia share that she’s pregnant with baby boy Avyaan, but she also gave a glimpse of her fun and cordial bond with Samaira.
The Bollywood actress shared the most stunning photos with her stepdaughter as they enjoyed in the island city. What followed next were a series of posts of Dia and Samaira that were just too cute to handle. On her Instagram handle, Dia has shared fun dance videos with Samaira and even penned sweet notes for the young ones.
Until now, her fans knew about her bond with her husband Vaibhav’s daughter from first marriage only via social media posts. However, now, Dia has opened up about the same and we must tell you, they make the most perfect mother-stepdaughter duo. In a recent interview, Dia shared that Samaira is a lovely big sister to her son Avyaan and the actress learns a lot from her “refreshing worldview”.
Dia, who embraced motherhood this year, told Etimes: “I am learning each day about the joys and the challenges of motherhood, finding little spaces in my packed day just to breathe, to work while making sure that my baby and our daughter Samaira always remains at the heart of everything I do.”
Today (November 14) the actress penned a special post today for Samaira and Avyaan to mark Children’s Day. She shared photos of her kiddos and captioned it: “You are born free. May you live free. Free to explore and discover the full potential of your being #ChildrensDay2021 #HappyChildrensDay #ChildrensDay”
Dia also shared the photo of a poem by Kahlil Gibran she dedicated to the two. A part of it read: “Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts…”
