After months of anticipation, the makers of Dhurandhar 2 have finally unveiled the trailer, bringing back Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari on a fierce path of revenge. The trailer was released on March 7, offering fans their first glimpse into the next chapter of the action-packed story.
The three-minute-and-25-second trailer shows Hamza taking control of Pakistan’s Lyari town after the death of crime boss Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna.
The video also hints at Hamza’s past identity as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, revealing flashbacks of his transformation and training as a spy. Packed with intense action sequences and emotional moments, the trailer sets the stage for a high-stakes revenge drama.
The trailer follows Hamza’s journey toward the Lyari throne as he manoeuvres through the ranks of a terror syndicate, attempting to dismantle it from within. Major Iqbal, portrayed by Arjun Rampal, emerges as a key target of the mission.
The trailer also showcases the film’s ensemble cast. Sanjay Dutt appears as the tough law enforcement officer SP Chaudhary Aslam, while R. Madhavan plays Ajay Sanyal.
Action dominates the trailer’s pacing, featuring rapid-fire sequences of shootouts, covert meetings, and urban warfare. Much of the montage is set to a remixed version of the track Ari Ari by Bombay Rockers, adding an energetic pulse to the visuals.
The trailer concludes with a dramatic declaration from Ranveer Singh’s character, delivering a chilling dialogue that underscores the geopolitical tension at the heart of the story: “Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tay karega.”
