Dheeraj Dhoopar is gearing up for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and well, that will also mark the actor’s foray in reality shows on Indian television. The actor quit Kundali Bhagya and while there were reports that he did so to take up the reality show, soon came the news of his show with Surbhi Chandna, Sherdil Shergill.
The actor got talking to Times Now Digital whether or not it was a calculated move to quit Kundali Bhagya and take up the reality show.
The actor tells us, “I always thought that how will I manage my time, and how will I give my time to both the shows? Because whatever I do, if I am a part of a certain show, I want to give my 100% as an actor, because if I am the face of the show, there’s a lot of responsibility on your shoulders to run that show. People expect a lot of things, you need to be there for the show. In my 14 years, by God’s grace, I was never that free that I should take up another thing, and I never took reality, so I never saw how tough or easy is it.
The actor further added, “But, I never tasted it because my whole time and energy and concentration was going in daily soaps, and it is a continuous thing. And maybe, you can say that I was preparing myself also, seeing which is the best show for me, and by chance, Jhalak happened. As long as I was working in Kundali Bhagya, there was no Jhalak, so maybe it was in my fate to do this show. I was offered shows earlier but I couldn’t take it up for some or the other reasons.”
Meanwhile, also a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 will be the likes of some of the top actors including Nia Sharma, Rubina Dilaik, Shilpa Shinde, among others.
The show will be going on-air on September 3 and judging the show will be Nora Fatehi, Karan Johar, and Madhuri Dixit.
