Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth were one of the most loved couples. They left everyone shocked when they announced their separation in January this year. It was 2004 when Dhanush got married to superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya. They have two sons, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja.
Their separation was a huge shock and many wanted them to think again about their decision. Since a few days, it was reported that the couple has decided to call off their divorce decision. This did come as a happy news but there was no official confirmation.
Now, finally Dhanush’s father, veteran director Kasthuri Raja has reacted to these reports. In an interview with YouTube channel of Tamil-language weekly magazine Ananda Vikatan, Kasthuri Raja opened up about these rumours.
He did not directly speak about it and refused to address these rumours. He also said that he and his want want their kids to be happy. Earlier, Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their breakup on social media.
Dhanush wrote, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting… Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this (sic).”
In August, we saw Dhanush and Aishwarya together for their elder son. He took oath as the sports captain of his school.
