Amid the ongoing conflict, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that Israeli airstrikes across multiple regions in Lebanon killed 7 people and wounded 65 others in the past 24 hours. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the overall toll since the conflict began has reached 3,452, with 14,664 people wounded.
On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes on Khreibeh, a village in the Baalbek district of eastern Lebanon resulted in the death of six people and injured 11 others, the Lebanese Ministry said. During the past day, Lebanon recorded around 145 airstrikes and shelling attacks in many regions, taking the total number of assaults to 13,222, reports added.
Two medics were killed in south Lebanon on early Saturday in Borj Rahal and Kfartebnit, while four other rescue workers were injured, Al Jazeera reported.
Israeli airstrikes continue to bombard the southern suburbs of Beirut for the fifth consecutive day. The Israeli military claimed that the attacks were directed at Hezbollah’s weapons storage facility, command centre and other infrastructures.
As per reports, most residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs had fled.
