Korean actor Lee Min-Ho has been away from Korean dramas for a long time now. His last show was ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’, which released in 2020. Though he continued to appear in films and web shows, people missed his presence on TV – medium that shot him to fame. The Legend Of The Blue Sea
Released in 2016, The Legend Of The Blue Sea is the story of Shim Cheong, a mermaid who falls in love with Heo Joon-jae – a human. This fantasy drama is inspired by a classic folktale and explores themes of love, destiny, and redemption. Besides an engaging storyline and fabulous performances, the show is a visual treat with stunning locations and picturesque settings. The Heirs
The Heirs follows the lives of high school students from privileged backgrounds and how their experiences change when they encounter Eun-Sang, a girl from a less fortunate family. Boys Over Flowers
Boys Over Flowers’ story is very similar yet different from that of The Heirs. A young, poor girl, Geum Jan Di, gets a scholarship to study at Shin Hwa High School, meant for elites. Her life changes when she meets Gu Jun Pyo, who initially picks on her but later falls in love. The show is a teen-school drama that became a rage among youngsters when released in 2009. People outside Korea were introduced to Lee Min-Ho through this show, which further made him a household name. The show also stars Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum, and Kim Joon.
