Congress opposes everything that is in public interest; SP did nothing for poor: CM Adityanath’s all-out attack at Opposition

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  launched a scathing attack at the Congress and said the party that “encourages and nurtures” terrorists opposes everything that is in the public interest.

Addressing a gathering in Farrukhabad, the Chief Minister also hit out at the Samajwadi Party, saying that it never worked for the poor, youth or farmers.

“It is not hidden from anyone that how this Congress, which encourages and nurtures terrorists, was playing with the country. Earlier when they were in power, they used to inspire terrorists and today when they are out of power, they oppose every work that is for the welfare of the public,” Adityanath said.

He went on to say that all funds meant for public welfare would have gone into the personal accounts of the Samajwadi Party or Bahujan Samja Party, had they been in power in Uttar Pradesh.

“We are giving free COVID19 vaccines to all and free ration to the poor. This is what happens when there is a good government. If there was SP or BSP government, then all the money meant for public welfare would have gone into their personal accounts,” the CM said.

“When a good government comes, then good schemes also come. Had a bad government come, all the food grains would have gone to the houses of the leaders of SP, BSP, or Congress,” he added.

He also slammed the previous governments over the recovery of the huge cash in multiple raids at the houses and factory of perfume trader Piyush Jain in Kanpur and Kannauj.

“The recovery of a huge stash of cash and gold bricks three days ago exposes the black deeds of previous governments and shows how they concealed the money that belongs to the poor. Now, this money will be used to accelerate the pace of development to make UP number one,” he said.

Adityanath further said that the handling of COVID situation by the Uttar Pradesh government was lauded by the whole country and the world.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, free COVID tests were done and everyone is being given free vaccines,” he added.

Uttar Pradesh is among five states that ars set to go to polls early next year.
