Cirkus box office collection day 2: Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus made a disappointing start at the box office. Unable to clock in big numbers on its first day, the comedy drama did not show any significant growth on its second day at the box office. Failing to cross the double digit mark once again, the film seems to be facing tough competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water.
Cirkus box office collection day 2
Following a slow first day at the ticket counter, Cirkus appeared to have experienced a similar second day. Minting Rs 6.25 crore across the nation on Friday, the comedy drama film collected Rs 6.40 on its second day at the box office. This brings the two-day nett to approximately Rs 12.65 crore. While Maharashtra and Gujarat are the prime markets for Rohit Shetty’s films, Cirkus hasn’t performed well in either state.
Besides being Rohit Shetty’s worst opening in a decade, the film may become Ranveer’s third consecutive flop if it doesn’t pick up pace during the holiday week.
