Chiranjeevi Konidela, Prakash Raj, Jr NTR, and other South celebs mourn Dilip Kumar’s demise

In an unfortunate turn of events, legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar passed away earlier this morning. He was 98. He is survived by his wife Saira Banu, a veteran actor herself. 

Dilip Kumar’s passing away came as a huge shock to the entire Indian film industry and well-wishers. People around the world have taken to social media to mourn his demise. Many south Indian film celebrities including Chiranjeevi Konidela, Prakash Raj, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jr NTR and others took to Twitter to offer their condolences.

Taking to his social media handle, Chiranjeevi Konidela shared a throwback photo of himself with Dilip and expressed his shock and heartbreak in a post that read, “An Era comes to an END in the Indian Film Industry.Deeply Saddened by the passing of LEGEND #DilipKumar Saab. One of the GREATEST Actors India has ever produced,an Acting Institution & a National Treasure. Enthralled the world for several decades.May his soul Rest in Peace(sic)
