K-pop boy band BTS’ members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook recently joined Sakshma Srivastav for a candid conversation through a video call. One after the other, the boy band members answered personal questions for their Indian fans. Midway through the interview, the host asked V about his voice and questioned whether he was born with it or he had to work on his vocals. Before replying, V took a long pause and an awkward silence took over the interview. He then gave a hilarious answer that instantly triggered a meme-fest on social media.
Replying to the host, V said, “My vocal teacher used to scold me because of how I sang. But I worked hard on improving myself and turned it into my advantage.”
After the interview, the host also made the boy band repeat a popular Bollywood dialogue. As the host said, “Ap hamare dil mei rhte hai,” the BTS members repeated it in the most adorable way. Several clips from the interview went viral on social media. Check it out below.
Recently, BTS leader RM thanked his Indian fans for raising funds for COVID-19 relief. Previously, it was reported that one of the Indian fanbases of the boy band had raised over Rs 20 lakh in just 24 hours to help those affected by the pandemic. In the same interview, he said, “Thank you for the beautiful ARMYs in India. We miss (you) and we hope that we could be there in front of you as fast as possible. Let us stay strong in these challenging times. Our prayers go to everyone currently fighting against Covid-19 and we hope to see you soon and safe.” J-Hope interrupted RM and added, “ARMY do not lose hope,” before RM continued, “We are together with India.”
BTS’ Indian fans have been eagerly waiting for the boy band to visit Asian country. They haven’t visited India yet. Last year, the group had shared that they would love to travel to India once the pandemic is over.
The K-pop group had recently dropped their new track titled Butter and the song has been topping music charts since then. Some of their other popular songs include Dynamite, Life Goes On, Fake Love, Euphoria, Fire, Spring Day and DNA, among others.
