K-pop superband BTS’ fans, popularly known as ARMY, were left concerned after their record label Big Hit Music announced that three members of the group have tested positive for COVID-19. RM, Jin and Suga tested positive earlier this month after returning from the United States. While they have assured that they are all doing fine and recovering from the virus, fans couldn’t help but worry about their beloved K-pop stars.
But, days after the sad news, the ARMY has got a reason to rejoice. The reason? Well, the members of the South-Korean super K-pop band have once again proved that they are dominating the global entertainment market. Four members of the septet have featured in TC Candler’s 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2021. They have left behind some of the biggest names in Bollywood and Hollywood to make a mark on the list.
The list features names like Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Michael B Jordan and other handsome hunks. It also has pop stars Shawn Mendes, Harry Styles and Jason Derulo. Talking about BTS stars, the members who have made it to the list are V, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook. Interestingly, V has left behind global crush Timothée Chalamet to get the third spot. Meanwhile, Jungkook who’s on the fifth rank has defeated Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa and Zayn Malik. Jimin has received the fourteenth spot, beating harry Styles, while Jin is on number 35. This is his fourth year on the popular list.
Other than V, Jungkook, Jimin and Jin, there are more than twenty other K-pop names on the list.
Bollywood actors like Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra have also featured in the list 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2021. Varun, who has been a part of the list three times already, ranked at number 45. Shahid is at 69th while the Shershaah star is on number 76. This is their sixth year on 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2021. But they have all been defeated by the K-pop band BTS’ four members.
Speaking of BTS, the group is currently on their second long-term vacation. As per reports, they will be soon seen at 36th Golden Disk Awards. Reports also suggest that they will have a concert in Seoul.
