The story revolves around a human girl who discovers a portal to another planet and befriends a defiant witch and a warrior. If that wasn’t enough to spark your interest, the unexpected pairing of BTS’ Jungkook, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, SHINee’s Taemin, and Jessi who made an appearance stunned fans.
The four idols are unquestionably among the most well-known in the industry and their pairing in a series appears to be the most odd, but it has happened and how!
On May 22, a social media user released a video in which all of the idols appeared in the show, shocking netizens. Many people couldn’t help but notice the similarities. Jungkook’s “Butter”-inspired purple hair, Taemin’s blonde “Jopping” hair, Jessi’s features, and G-Dragon’s distinctive hair style were all brilliantly portrayed in the show.
Netizens couldn’t get enough of the idols’ brief appearance, even though it was only for two seconds. Despite the fact that it was completely random, many people argued that it was proof of K-pop’s global appeal because it appeared in Disney productions.
Following the episode, netizens speculated that the scene’s director or artist disclosed why the K-Pop idols were included in the show. According to their Instagram story, artist Bo Coburn expressed his surprise that the idols could be included in the show.
“I still can’t believe that Dana let me get away with this, but I’ll always be grateful. Got to put in some of my favorite artists and represent the music and culture a tiny bit,” they wrote on their IG story.
