BTS’ agency leaves no room for leniency or settlement in legal notice; crack down on malicious posts against group

Things are about to get real tough for haters posting abusive content, insults and profane language on the internet since BIGHIT Music, BTS’ agency has decided to take stringent measures than before to catch hold of the suspects and punish them severely for their actions.
The agency issued an official statement on social media where they stated to have been working on collecting and reporting such posts on a regular basis.
They also mentioned a suspect who has been caught indulging in these activities and has come forward to make a settlement with the agency, to which they said “In order to eradicate malicious behaviour, we clearly state that we will continue to take strict measures against the suspects without any settlement or leniency.”
The agency, who is working day and night to ensure that the interests of their artists are not at risk, takes the matter very seriously and issues legal action against online perpetrators who indulge in creating or sharing content that is defamatory in nature, is insulting towards the artists, leads to sexual harassment, spreading baseless rumours and information about the artists on social media and aims to slander them with a malicious intent.
The statement further said ” We recently submitted a number of complaints to investigative agencies based on evidence of insults and defamation posts collected through reports from fans and self-monitoring.”
The agency shared an instance where a publisher created multiple IP addresses on DC Inside and used them to share posts that were highly insulting towards the group. BIGHIT Music then monitored the posts and sued the publisher for trying to harm the reputation of their artists.
The notice also mentioned that even though the company tried their best to monitor such posts and take appropriate legal action, some posts were coming from platforms that weren’t mentioned in the notice and refrained from sharing further details for the investigations to be conducted in a smooth manner.
ARMY is happy with the latest updates on the notice which tightens the grip around the suspects and aims to take a firm stance on the matter by punishing them severely to curb this menace as much as possible.
