The Brazilian model who went viral in India after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi mentioned her name during his “vote chori” allegation against the BJP has finally broken her silence. Following the opposition leader’s press conference, her name was widely searched across political circles and social media platforms. Now, after hours of silence, the Brazilian model has opened up about how she feels regarding the entire episode unfolding in India. She has also shared a video message for her Indian fans.

Brazilian Model’s Video – Who is she?

Larissa, the Brazilian model and influencer who has recently gained popularity in India, shared a video on social media expressing her surprise at being mentioned by an Indian politician. She clarified that she has no connection with Indian politics. In the video, translated from Portuguese, Larissa appeared shocked by the unexpected attention. She said, “Guys, I can’t believe these people are gossiping. They’re using an old photo of mine; I was 18 or 20 in that photo. They’re portraying me as Indian to scam people. What madness! What craziness is this? What world do we live in?”

Brazilian Model: ‘I think I look Mexican’

Larissa also posted a video on her Instagram. On Insta, she wrote,

“Hello India, I was asked to make a video for Indian journalists. That’s why I’m making this video. I have nothing to do with Indian politics. I’ve never been to India. I was a Brazilian model and a digital influencer. I love the people of India. Thank you very much. Namaste.”

“Look, I want to tell you, this whole situation has become very serious. Some Indian journalists are trying to contact me. Look, I’m right here. They want to talk to me and interview me. Friends, I’ve already spoken to everyone and answered all their questions.”

“You should know that I am that so-called mysterious Brazilian woman. Yes, the same mysterious model you’re all talking about. But honestly, I’m just an ordinary person now, no longer a model. Yet somehow, after being a model, I’ve suddenly become ‘mysterious’ to you.”

“My Indian friends and followers, welcome to my Instagram. Let’s talk for a bit. It wasn’t actually me, you know—it was just a picture of me. But I truly appreciate all your concern and kindness.”

“Do you think I look Indian? I think I look Mexican.”

“I made this official video for the people of India. Now I’ll have to learn some Indian words. What are these words? I only know Namaste, and what other words do I need to learn?”

I will become famous in India, can you believe it? I will become famous. Got it? That’s all I have to say on this issue. Now it’s very serious. That’s all I have to say on this issue.”

What Rahul Gandhi Said

Rahul Gandhi’s vote theft allegation: The issue arose after Rahul Gandhi, during his press conference, accused the BJP of large-scale voter fraud in Haryana, displaying several alleged examples of mismatched photos and identities on voter cards.

The event began with the woman’s photograph displayed on screen, captioned, “Yeh kaun hai?”
