Suicide Attempt

Chaahat Pandey’s co-actor from Hamari Bahu Silk revealed that the actress tried to commit suicide due to the non-payment of dues by the show makers. This happened in 2020, after Covid struck the world and brought it to a standstill.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Zaan shared that her life was saved because of her mother. “Chahat had actually attempted to commit suicide, but it was her mother who came to her rescue. Her mother stopped her from taking the drastic step. She has struggled a lot to be an actress, this money means a lot to her. It is the first time that she has earned such a big amount, but to her sheer bad luck, she is deprived of this also. She is the sole earning member in her family, her father is no more, and she has two small brothers and a mother to look after,” he told the media portal. The show was taken off air just after five month.

Days before entering the house, Chaahat confessed the same while talking to Indian Express. “Yes, it happened in 2019. I am in a good space now.”

Chaahat Pandey Arrested

Chaahat, who was trolled for not leaving her ‘sanskari-bahu’ image in the Bigg Boss House once landed in a big trouble owing to her actions. The actor as well as her mother were arrested by police for sneaking and breaking into her uncle’s house. The mother-daughter duo was also accused of vandalizing his entire apartment and assaulting him too. However, they came out after the court granted bail to them.

Earned Hatred Of Co-actors

Chaahat Pandey was accused of her ill behaviour on the sets of her shows and initiating fights with co-actors. When Salman Khan questioned her about her involvement in the ouster of her colleagues, the actor completed denied the news. She further shared that she is the hero as well as the heroine of her show and she runs in single handedly. Later, when the host asked Avinash Mishra, who has also been her co-star, about Chaahat, he revealed the truth. “Chaahat always had an attitude issue. She would say, ‘I am number one.’ It was this madam who had issues,” he told Salman.
