Batsman is frustrated: David Warner sends hilarious message to broadcaster on stump mic vs Sri Lanka

As Australia look to secure a historic series win over Sri Lanka in the ongoing Test series between the two sides, David Warner was at his hilarious best during the second Test match at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. The Australian opener used the stump mic to send a hilarious message to Australian broadcaster Geoff Lemon.
The incident took place nearing the end of play on the second day of the Galle Test on Saturday (July 9). At the time, Kusal Mendis and Angelo Matthews were batting on the crease and looking well set to make a big score after a solid partnership. However, the duo complained to the umpire about their line of sight while facing the ball being interrupted by people roaming in the press box above the sightscreen.
Warner was quick to spot Australian journalist Geoff Lemon being the person at fault and used the stump mic to send him a message. “Broadcast, can you tell Geoff Lemon to sit down, in the yellow. Batsman is frustrated, please.” Warner’s hilarious words generated laughs all around the commentary box as the clip went viral across social media.
Lemon took Warner’s words in a sporting manner and replied on Twitter stating that the Australian opener got the colour of his short wrong. “Actually, David, it’s more of a beige and cinnamon”, he wrote on his official Twitter while posting the clip.
Talking about the match, Australia put on a massive score of 364 on the board after winning the toss and batting first. Both Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith scored tons for the visitors. However, Sri Lanka have made a solid comeback and taken a first innings lead. Dimuth Karunaratne, Kusal Mendis, and Angelo Matthews have all made half-centuries for the Sri Lankans. Australia had won the series opener by 10 wickets.
