Members of the Rahul Bajaj clan have bought 5 ultra-luxury sea-view apartments in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi area. The apartments in south Mumbai’s Raheja Vivarea residential complex were bought for nearly Rs 104 crore in a deal struck between October and November, reported Economic Times.
Two out of the five apartments were bought through the Nirvaan Family Trust, and three others were scooped up by Shefali Bajaj, Sanjali Bajaj and Manish Kejriwal
Shefali is the wife of Bajaj Finserv MD & CEO Sanjiv Bajaj; Sanjali, daughter of Shefali and Sanjiv, is married to Manish. Manish is the founder of Kedaara Capital.
The apartments were purchased by the family from developer K Raheja Corp’s subsidiary Genext Hardware & Parks and its partner Capricorn Realty, the report added.
The stamp duty for the registration of the five apartments amounted to Rs 6.21 crore.
All apartments are in the same tower E of the residential township. The most expensive of the five apartments is the one bought by Shefali for Rs 28.27 crore. It is a 3,400-sq feet unit located on the 39th floor of the building. Daughter Sanjali’s apartment bought a similar-sized apartment for Rs 28.27 crore located on the 38th floor.
Kejriwal’s apartment, a 2,433 square feet unit on the 36th floor, was bought for Rs 15.47 crore.
The Nirvaan Family Trust purchased two units for Rs 15.84 crore each, the report further mentioned.
According to Raheja Vivarea website, the apartments come in 3 BHK and 4BHK formats. The project is spread over 14 acres of prime real estate overlooking the Mahalaxmi Racecourse and the Arabian Sea.
