Mohammad Rizwan Consults Zampa Before Taking DRS Call
In a surprising turn of events, Adam Zampa was on crease, the last hope for Australia who could manage to score some runs, Naseem Shah bowled a short delivery and Adam Zampa was beaten with his pace and bounce following which the ball went straight to Mohammad Rizwan. But what was astonishing to see is that Mohammad Rizwan asked Zampa whether he should take the review or not, responding to which Zampa immediately asked him to do so.
Rizwan: Did you hear something?
Zampa: You are appealing for everything?
Rizwan: Should I take the review?
Zampa: Yes, you should
Rizwan takes the review and DRS says Not-out
But the review was wasted for Pakistan as it was taken in a mere hope of piling up Australia’s innings as soon as possible.
In the first innings, Australia witnessed a batting collapse as the Pakistan bowlers were quite dominant. The hosts went 8 wickets down in less that 150 runs and were struggling to score. Haris Rauf took a stunning five-wicket haul and Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets to put Pakistan in drivers seat. They now have to chase a target of 163 set by the Aussies.
