Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is all set to make her comeback with sports drama Chakda Xpress. The actress, who was last seen in superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 2018 film Zero, has been busy shooting for the movie, which is a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami. She was in Kolkata for a schedule and today, she wrapped the shoot.
Anushka, who has been constantly sharing glimpses of her busy schedule, once again treated fans to some pictures. This time, it was a ‘photo dump’ series. Seems like the 34-year-old has been exploring the city and its famous food with daughter Vamika Kohli.
“Eat-Pray-Love. My Kolkata photo dump! #ScheduleWrap #ChakdaXpress #Kolkata,” Anushka wrote alongside the photos. She also added details of the pictures. The first image shows her offering prayer at Hawrah’s Belur Math. The second one is a photo of her and Vamika. She’s seen sweetly hugging her daughter as they visit Kalighat temple.
The rest of them were pictures of popular dishes she relished during the shoot. It included: “Aliah phirni, Balwant singh ki chai and samose, Mithai ke baked and regular rasgulle, Paramount ke sherbet, Girishch dey malaai roll, Puri ram ki kachori aloo”
Chakda Xpress marks Anushka’s comeback after a hiatus of four years. Helmed by Prosit Roy, the film will premiere on Netflix. Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma will be producing the movie via his production company Clean Slate Filmz.
The release date of the much-awaited biopic is yet to be announced.
