Amber Heard, who has remained in the headlines due to the much-followed defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, is found to have the most beautiful face in the world.
The results were derived with the help of a traditional face mapping technique called PHI, which is used to calculate how close a face is to the Greek Golden Ratio of beauty, which is 1.618.
According to a report in Unilad, Dr Julian De Silva from the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London found Heard’s face to be 91.85 per cent accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio in a study conducted using PHI, thus making her the most beautiful woman in the world.
Dr Silva reportedly analysed as many as 12 points on the Aquaman’s actor face including her eyes, lips, nose, and chin. He took into account a red carpet image from 2016 to run his analysis.
Using the same technique Dr Silva also declared Robert Pattinson as the most handsome man in the world with 92.15 per cent accuracy.
Meanwhile, speaking of the recently concluded defamation trial, the Virginia jury found Heard to be guilty of defaming Depp on three counts. The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor was awarded a total of $15 million in damages.
A few days after the end of the trial, Heard’s attorney Elaine Bredehoft said in an interview that the actress will “absolutely” want to appeal the jury’s decision that was in favour of Depp, adding, “She has some excellent grounds for it.”
For the uninitiated, Heard and Depp tied the knot in 2015 after several years of dating. However, things soon went downhill in their relationship as a year later, Heard filed for divorce alleging that Depp had physically abused her. Depp then replied with a defamation case while Heard counterattacked with another.
