As per a report by ETimes, the baby girl’s name has a ‘double’ connection to her dad’s favourite number. While R is the 18th number in the alphabet series, H stands at the number 8.

The Brahmastra stars, who tied the knot in April this year, welcomed their first child on November 6. Alia on Thursday revealed the name of their baby girl and shared that Neetu Kapoor suggested it.
She posted a picture which showed the new parents holding the newborn. A cute football jersey could also be spotted on the wall with ‘Raha’ written on it.
Sharing the picture, Alia revealed the meaning of Raha. She wrote, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form means divine pathin Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held her – we felt it ALL!”
“Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels as though our lives have only just begun,” added Alia.
