Ajay Devgn will soon return to theatres with ‘Singham Again’, which has created massive hype among fans. The movie will feature actors like Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh from the previous Rohit Shetty’s cop universe films. Meanwhile, the makers have also announced the new talented ensemble cast for ‘Singham Again’. Before its trailer release, Ajay unveiled the first glimpse of ‘Singham Agan’ and thanked the audience for giving love to previous films in the franchise.
Sharing the video, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Tyohaar toh parivaar ke saath hi manaya jaata hai…milte hai iss Diwali. #SinghamAgain.”
Deepika Padukone is the new addition to the cop universe and will essay the role of a ruthless cop named Shakti Shetty. Arjun Kapoor has been cast as an antagonist. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff will be seen in important roles as well.
Singham Again Vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Clash:
The movie will clash with Kartik Aaryan-starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ in theatres. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, producer Jyoti Deshpande talked about the decision of ‘Singham Again’ to be released on Diwali 2024. She shared, “These are business decisions. It’s not about ego or power. Singham Again is a tailor-made film for Diwali. After the film releases, you’ll understand why we wanted to come on Diwali. As a general rule, if two films clash, they cannibalise each other but the market is there. Gadar 2 was released with OMG 2.”
She added, “Yes, the clash will dent some business. But everybody (has done their) calculations. I can speak for myself that our film is the Avengers of the Rohit Shetty cop universe where Singham will be joined by Simmba, Sooryavanshi, Lady Singham and much more. It is thematically tailor made for Diwali and promises to entertain big. Everybody plays to win and we’ll follow suit. The audience is smart. They know from a trailer or teaser (which film they want to watch). They may even watch both films. We wish them the very best. Sabki picture chalein par hamari thodi zyada chalein.”
Ajay Devgn’s Work Front:
On the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the movie ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ with Tabu. The movie did not work well at the box office.
