Adivi Sesh says it’s ‘dream come true’ as Major makes it to IMDb’s Top 10 Indian Movies 2022 list

 IMDB released their list for the Top 10 Most Popular Movies of 2022. The list has names such as SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, Vivek Agnihotri’s controversial masterpiece The Kashmir Files as well as Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, which has taken the world stage by storm by celebrating its root and culture. Also included in the list isAdivi Sesh’s biographical drama Major. The film, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, too made it to the list with an audience approval rating of 8.2. We got in touch with Adivi, who essayed the lead in the film to gauge his reaction, and the actor was ecstatic.
ADIVI SESH REACTS
In conversation with Times Now Digital, while travelling, Adivi was all smiles as he took out time from his busy schedule for a short tete-a-tete regarding the recognition.
“Very, very proud,” the actor says over the humdrum of a moving vehicle, before going on to add, “I shared a picture with the IMDb award this morning which came to my house. I am very, very proud and extremely happy. This recognition is very impactful.”
The actor went on to thank director Sashi Kiran Tikka as well as producerG. Mahesh Babu before adding, “To have a small dream I had and see it turn it into such a large reality. It is literally a dream come true.”
ON BEING FEATURED WITH KANTARA, RRR
When asked about being featured with films like RRR, Kantara, The Kashmir Files and KGF: Chapter 2Adivi exclaims that it is an honour to be featured on the list.
“To be honest when I saw the line-up of the films, every one of those films are movies that I saw in the theatre and enjoyed. That is something to be said, and that lineup felt genuine,” he signed off.
