Adani One: Gautam Adani-led group launches consumer app for airports vertical; check services offered

Taking a step forward in their digital journey, industrialist Gautam Adani-led Adani Group  launched Adani One, a consumer app for its airports vertical. The app, which is currently in the alpha stage, will let users book flights and cabs, shop for duty-free products, check their flight status, and more.
“With the consumer alpha launch of Adani One, we have taken a step forward in our digital journey. It’s our collective effort to build a digital twin that will eventually parallel our traditional businesses. Starting with the airport vertical, this launch aims to gather precious customer insights and feedback,” Nitin Sethi, senior vice-president and chief digital officer, consumer businesses at Adani Group said in a LinkedIn post.
At the time of writing, the app has been downloaded over 1,000 times. Adani Group’s app has been launched on both iOS and Android and has a loyalty programme in which users can earn and redeem reward points on making flight, cab bookings, duty-free shopping and more.
Adani Group currently operates seven airports in India — Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mangalore, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram.
The launch of Adani one comes just a few days after the conglomerate had announced plans to roll out a super app bringing all of its various services together last month. In an interview with the Financial Times in November, group’s chairman Gautam Adani had talked about their plans to introduce a super app in the next three to six months.
A few months before, the Adani Group had entered into a strategic partnership with Walmart-owned Flipkart for a logistics hub and a data centre. The conglomerate also picked up a minority stake in Flipkart-owned travel app Cleartrip.
Meanwhile, four companies of the Adani Group – Adani Transmission, Adani Green, Adani Green Energy and Adani Total Gas – have featured amongst the world’s 500 most valuable companies, the 2022 Hurun Global 500 report released by Hurun Research Institute earlier this month showed.
