Action King’ Arjun is one of the many actors whose devotional inclinations have interested fans. The Mudhalvan star has expressed himself as the devotee of Lord Hanuman. Going a step ahead, the actor’s plans to build a temple for his favourite God enthralled Hanuman bhakts.
Well, the actor has finally realised his dream and built the temple for Lord Hanuman. Arjun had decided to launch the inaugural ceremony of the temple on a grand scale. However, the pandemic situation has posed as a barrier for his plans.
We have learned that Arjun has decided to inaugurate the Hanuman temple in the presence of his closed circle. The function is said to be conducted at the newly built temple near Chennai International Airport, Tamil Nadu.
“The original plan was to make the inaugural a grand affair. Due to the pandemic, it will be a low-key one. However, for the benefit of those who want to watch the rituals, I am going to live-stream them,” Arjun was quoted as saying by Indiaglitz
The same report also added that the Kumbabhishekam rituals will be live-streamed via Arjun Sarja’s YouTube channel on July 1 and 2.
Reportedly, Arjun has got the Lord Hanuman Murti temple which is the first of its kind by virtue of being in the sitting posture and the idol weighs 140 tonnes.
Arjun has been an ardent devotee of Anjaneya Swamy. He famously played the role of God in Sri Anjaneyam, the Nithin-starrer semi-devotional film directed by Krishna Vamsi. The film had fantasy elements and it was admittedly based on some true miracles.
On the work front, Arjun has Friendship with Harbhajan Singh and Losliya Mariyanesan. The film will feature Arjun in an antagonist role and the first look poster and teaser have been released already.
Directed by John Paul Raj and Shyam Surya, Friendship is said to be a sports-based drama film. Friendship is produced by Seantoa Studios in association with Cinemaas studios. It will also be the first time Arjun is associating with Harbhajan Singh. It will be interesting to see how the two actors play out on the screen. Harbhajan’s charisma matched with Arjun’s intimidating antagonist experience is sure to provide quality entertainment to the fans.
The cricket fans were quite surprised when it was announced that Harbhajan will be featuring as an actor in Santhanam’s Dikkilona in 2019 December. While the cricketer-turned-actor began shooting for Dikkilona, another surprise awaited the cinema and cricket fans in February 2020, which was Friendship.
