‘Abuses I get on daily basis work as nutrition for me’: PM Modi’s sharp attack at Opposition in Telangana

Launching a sharp attack at the K Chandrashekhar Rao led government in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  said that his rivals should keep abusing him and the BJP if state’s situation and the lives of people get better by doing so.
Addressing a public rally at Begumpet Airport in the state, the Prime Minister said that if his opposition thinks that it can abuse people of Telangana, that will not be tolerated.
“If by abusing me and BJP, Telangana’s situation and the lives of people get improved, continue abusing us. But if my opposition thinks that it can abuse people of Telangana, that will not be tolerated,” he warned.
PM Modi further said that “abuses” he gets on daily basis work as “nutrition for him” and he utilises them for the “betterment of people”.
“Sometimes people ask me if I don’t get tired. Yesterday morning, I was in Delhi, then in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and then in Andhra Pradesh in evening and now in Telangana. I tell them that the abuses I get on daily basis actually work as nutrition for me and I utilise those for the betterment of people,” he added.
Mounting his attack at the KCR government in the state, PM Modi said it is unfortunate that the people who flourished in the name of Telangana and ruled the state slowed down the progress of the state.
“The government of the state has done injustice to the talent of the people of Telangana,” the Prime Minister said, adding that people looting the poor in the state will not be spared.
Referring to the BJP’s victory in Munugode bypolls, PM Modi said the bye-elections show that the “sun will rise” and the “lotus will bloom” across Telangana.
“It’s because of the hard work of the karyakartas of Telangana that the BJP has more than 300 seats in Lok Sabha,” he said.
PM Modi also accused the Telangana government of encouraging superstition and said “if we have to develop the state, we need to keep away from superstition.”
“The people of Telangana want a BJP government which works for every family and not just for one family. Instead of family-first, the people want people-first politics,” he said.
“To avoid action, some people are trying to gang up and make a coalition of the corrupt. However, the people of Telangana and the country are keeping a keen eye on this,” he added.
