Sunil Gavaskar Heaps Praise On Nitish Kumar Reddy
Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar heaped praise on Nitish Kumar Reddy’s batting approach and the kind of maturity he showed throughout his knock. Gavaskar hoped that his cricketing sense and mental sharpness will surely increase in the coming days. He said to Star Sports, “He is showing that he can he can play according to the situation. His shot selection has been absolutely spot on, the way he has left deliveries around the off stump, the judgment that is shown around the off stump, the way he swayed out of the way. He has not looked to play the ramp shot, despite there being no fielder there. That just tells you that here is a young man who’s got a very good cricketing head on his shoulders and I pray to God that it always remains so.”
The India national cricket team ended the Day 3 of IND vs AUS 4th Test at a score of 358/9 and currently trail by 116 runs. With Nitish Kumar Reddy at the crease, the Indian team is expected to add more and more runs as possible as they will walk out to bat on Day 4. Reddy has been known for his aggressive playing style and is currently the leading run-scorer of the Indian team in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
