Aasif Sheikh claims Deepesh Bhan over-exerted himself, reveals he would spend 3 hours in gym, skip meals

The untimely demise of Deepesh Bhan has sent shockwaves across the Indian entertainment industry. The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! fame actor left for the heavenly abode on Saturday, July 23, at the age of 41. His fans and colleagues are still coming to terms with the unforeseen reality.
While the exact cause of Deepesh’s demise has not yet been confirmed but according to his friend and co-star Aasif Sheikh, he died of brain haemorrhage. While speaking to a media outlet, Aasif stated that Deepesh used to over-exert himself by gymming for long hours.
“Lately he was so much into gymming, running and I had also told him that after 40 one has to slow down a little bit. Don’t over-exert yourself. When he started he was a very fit man, in between he put on weight and I asked him to control weight and to keep check on his diet. But he had a point to prove that I do gymming for 3 hours, my wife is not in town. I would always tell him not to exercise for so long. He would tell me that he would skip meals at night,” Aasif told ETimes TV.
Further, Aasif revealed that Deepesh collapsed while playing cricket and that blood came out of his eyes. “He died of brain haemorrhage. Because his eyes were bleeding, one of eyes. When you get up in the morning your blood pressure is low and all of a sudden after working out he started playing cricket. He bowled six balls an entire over and after that when he bent down to pick his cap, he collapsed,” Aasif said.
“They rushed him to the hospital, Bhakti Vedanta which is like 5 minutes away from his house, he could not make it till there, by the time he reached, he was declared dead,” he added.
Meanwhile, Deepesh’s funeral took place Saturday evening in Mumbai. Several of his co-stars including Aasif and Rohitash Gaud came in to pay their last respect.
Deepesh, who also featured in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, FIR, and May I Come In Madam?, is survived by his wife and one-year-old son.
