In a significant move, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday that he will resign from his post as the CM in the coming two days. He further demanded early elections to be held in the National capital.
His shocking move has now garnered significant reactions from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders. Following the AAP Chief’s resignation announcement, MP Raghav Chadha stated “Mukhyamantri ji agni-pariksha se guzarne ke liye taiyyar hai.”
Chadha emphasized that it is now in the hands of the Delhiites to judge Kejriwal’s honesty. He reminded voters of Kejriwal’s 2020 statement to be judged for his work, emphasizing to vote him if he had worked well, otherwise not.
He affirmed that in the 2025 Delhi Elections, the voters will make Kejriwal the Chief Minister by declaring him honest.
Delhi Minister Atishi Reacts To Kejriwal’s Resignation
Delhi Minister Atishi reacts on Kejriwal’s announcement to resign in next two days, stating, “Over the past two years, BJP has spared no effort to harass Aam Aadmi Party.”
She claimed countless raids were carried out but they failed to provide any proof of corruption. Additionally, she accused BJP of being afraid of elections, asserting, “BJP is aware that the people of Delhi are angry with the false allegations made against Kejriwal.”
She declared that If polls are held today, the Delhiites will not allocate any seat to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP). “All 70 seats will go to the Aam Aadmi Party,” she added.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh Claims Arrest Was A Move To Undermine AAP
AAP MP Sanjay Singh has alleged that Kejriwal’s arrest was aimed at ending AAP but they (BJP) failed. He stated, “The people of Delhi will determine his honesty.”
Singh further claimed that Kejriwal will bring a certificate of honesty from the public by a wide margin.
In his address, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he was put behind bars because the center wanted to break his and the party’s courage.
