Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Department recently conducted raids on properties belonging to Ravindra Singh Yadav, a suspended officer of the Noida Authority. The raids were part of an investigation into a case of disproportionate assets, where it was found that Yadav had accumulated wealth beyond his known sources of income.

During the operation, which took place in Noida and Etawah, officials uncovered assets valued at over ₹1 crore. This included cash, jewelry, electronic devices, and important documents related to a school worth ₹15 crore.

The school, Aristotle World School, is reportedly operated by Yadav’s son and features modern amenities like smart classrooms. The investigation began after an FIR was filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, revealing that Yadav had accumulated wealth beyond his known income sources.

During the extensive 12-hour search, the Vigilance team discovered significant amounts of valuables, including:

Jewelry: Worth ₹62.44 lakh

Cash: ₹2.47 lakh

Electronic Devices: Valued at ₹37 lakh

Documents: Related to various bank accounts and land holdings

The investigation also highlighted Yadav’s alleged misuse of his official position in 2007 when he improperly transferred a government plot to a private housing society—a matter previously investigated by the CBI.

The Vigilance Department’s operation involved an 18-member team and was conducted with independent witnesses present to ensure transparency. The evidence collected during these raids is currently under examination as part of ongoing investigations into Yadav’s financial dealings and potential misconduct
