Patna-Purnia Expressway: Good News For Commuters! 250-Km Route To Get Additional Stretch Of 32-Km, Construction To Begin Soon

The Patna-Purnia expressway has got the approval for the development of a 32-km stretch on the route. The date for the construction of this additional stretch is yet to be announced.

The Patna-Purnia expressway consist of six-lane in it. The expressway is getting an additional stretch which boost up the connectivity. The route of the expressway is from Dighwara which is situated in Saran district to Dagarua which is in Purnia district.

Earlier, the expressway was approved for the the total length of 250-km. But now it is getting an extension of 32-km.

The expressway will cover locations which includes, Bidupur, Dumari Bujurg, Patepur, Kachhidargah, Laxmanpur and northern portion of Jandaha. It will also pass through the national highway- 322, which is in between Sarangpur and Sarairanjan. The greenfield expressway will cross the National Highway-527 in between Rosara and Jahangirpur.

The expressway boosts the connectivity, it connects several districts in Bihar. Apart from this the additional stretch will also enhance the route. It makes the travel for the commuters easier.

The route will get in the Kosi area at Kathdumer and will cross areas like Sonbersa Kachahri and Kahra block. The expressway will connect several villages, which will benefit the locals of those areas. This will bring connectivity to the villages.

After construction of this 32-km stretch the total length of the expressway will increase to 280-km. Initially the length of the expressway was 250-km.
