IPL 2025: Top 3 Game-Changing Picks For Punjab Kings In The Mega Auction

After retaining only two uncapped Indian players from the IPL 2024 squad for Rs 9.50 crore, the Punjab Kings entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a purse of Rs 110.50 crore. Three of the five most expensive players in the IPL 2025 mega auction were signed by PBKS.

Nehal Wadhera (4.20 Crore)

Nehal Wadhera was associated with MI in IPL 2023 and 2024 and impressed with his performance with the bat in these last two years. He is an attacking middle-order batter who can win matches single-handedly. Previously picked by Mumbai Indians for ₹20 lakh in 2022, he has come a long way with his impressive performances.

Marco Jansen (7 Crore)

South African Allrounder Marco Jansen will play for PBKS in IPL 2025. The 24-year-old cricketer was signed for Rs 7 crore by the Mohali-based franchise. Jansen has played 21 matches in the IPL so far for two teams and has picked up 20 wickets in 21 matches.

Prabhsimran Singh (4 Crore)

 PBKS retained Prabhsimran Singh for Rs 4 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction after he scored 358 and 334 runs in the last two editions of the cash-rich league for the team. Since making his T20 debut in February 2019, Prabhsimran has been one of the standout performers for Punjab in domestic cricket.
