The upcoming IPL Mega Auction sets new standards daily with a new trending list of players. One of the key players who is on the radar among teams is England’s Phil Salt. The swashbuckling wicket-keeper batter is one of the dazzling batters in the T20 circuit. Salt played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last season and played a pivotal role in KKR’s title quest.

Let’s take a look at which teams could target his service for the upcoming IPL season:

Kolkata Knight Riders

The “defending champion” Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the elite teams in the IPL history. Last season, Salt was named as a replacement for Jason Roy. Salt had a fruitful season for KKR as he amassed 435 runs in 12 matches at an average of 39.55. KKR would definitely look into him in the upcoming auction.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

A team that has a huge fan base in the IPL history, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is still yet to win the coveted trophy. With the likes of Virat Kohli in the side, RCB would like to form a formidable batting line-up and Phil Salt would be a perfect match for the side.

Delhi Capitals

The IPL 2020 runners-up, Delhi Capitals is one of the promising sides in the league. With its great team management, DC might acquire the English batter back into the side. Interestingly, Salt played his first-ever IPL season with DC.
