‘Kannappa’ has created a lot of hype among the fans ever since its announcement and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote it. Amid the massive hype, the makers had to face some problems as Prabhas’ look from the film got leaked. The makers have now released an official statement and urged fans to trace the culprit, who leaked the pics.
The makers said in a statement, “Dear Prabhas Fans and Supporters, For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization. This breach not only undermines our hard work but affects thousands of people, including over 2,000 VFX artists, who have been working tirelessly on this project. We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened, and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak.”
“We are reaching out to you, our loyal fans, for support. We urge you not to share this leaked image/footage as doing so will make individuals liable for a legal action. Anyone with information that can help us trace the origin of this leak will be rewarded with Rs 5,00,000. Please send any leads directly to the official 24 Frames Factory Twitter account. This is a project born of love and dedication, and with all our hearts, we request your help in preserving the integrity of Kannappa. Stand with us in protecting the spirit of this film. With gratitude, The KANNAPPA Team,” the statement concluded.
Apart from Prabhas and Vishnu Manchu, the movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal.
On the work front, Prabhas has announced three movies with Hombale Film, including ‘Salaar 2’. The statement added, “We are proud to unite with the Rebel Star, #Prabhas, in a groundbreaking three-film partnership that celebrates the essence of Indian cinema and aims to take it to the world. This is a declaration of our commitment to creating cinematic experiences that will be unforgettable. The stage is set and the path ahead is limitless. Get ready, as the journey begins with #Salaar2…”
The three projects will release in 2026, 2027, and 2028 respec
