Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has crossed 270 majority mark. Trump secured the Electoral College after winning Wisconsin stated over Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of US.
Trump becomes the first US president to return to White House in more than 130 years. Trump is all set to become the President of United States. Trump lauded Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, while addressing his victory address.
Trump Calls Elon A “New Star”
Donald Trump mentions Elon as “New Star”. He further added that, “We have a new star, A star is born-Elon”. During the address Trump calls him as an amazing guy. Trump stated, Musk as “Genius”.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has endorsed Trump since the beginning of his campaign. Musk also campaigned for him in the race of US Presidential Election.
When the counting of votes was underway, Tesla CEO Musk posted on his X handle “America is a Nation of Builders. Soon, you will be free to build.”
Donald Trump recounted aa story about SpaceX launch, where the rocket booster performed good. “Elon is a super genius. We have to protect our geniuses, we don’t have many of them,” said Trump. He further added by saying, ““You know, he sent the rocket up two weeks ago and he sent the rocket up and I saw it coming down…And I’m thinking Elon can do this, it must be Elon”.
Trump’s Victory Speech
While addressing the supporters at Palm Beach Country Convention Center after picture became clear about the election result, he said, that he would fight for the Americans and mentions that next four years will be the “Golden age of America”.
Donald Trump stated that, “This is a political victory that our country has never seen before, nothing like this. I want to thank American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th President and your 45th President. Every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and for your future. Every single day, I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body”.
He further added that “I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America”.
