The Hindi version of the much-awaited Disney film Mufasa: The Lion King has chosen Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan to dub its voice, along with his son AbRam. King Khan was spotted Monday night, November 4, walking out of a studio in Mumbai. Shah Rukh who recently turned 59th, was seen in a low-key casual dress in a white tee and blue jeans as he tried to avoid the shutterbugs’ cameras while leaving the studio under a big umbrella.

Another video featured his 11-year-old AbRam with actor-daughter Suhana Khan. The brother-sister duo was seen heading out of the recording studio, where Suhana can be seen in a grey-coloured tracksuit, and AbRam is in a blue t-shirt and shorts.

When and Where To Watch:

The official announcement was shared through the Instagram handle of Walt Disney Studios India back in August, They wrote in the captions, “बस एक ही होगा जंगल का राजा. The king @iamsrk is back as Mufasa, with #AryanKhan and #AbRamKhan by his side. Mufasa: The Lion King in cinemas 20th December.”

The Trailer offered a sneak peek into the touching, new story of the revered king Mufasa. It offers a glimpse into the earlier, more innocent relationship between the iconic lion brothers before their bond is ultimately severed. This part of the film explores Mufasa’s life before he becomes the king and how he transforms from an orphaned and vulnerable cub into a strong lion who encounters Taka, a sympathetic lion of royal descent. The story begins with the baboon Rafiki recounting Mufasa’s legend to his granddaughter Kiara, with the narrative unfolding through flashbacks.

The film explores Mufasa’s journey from an orphaned cub to a young lion who encounters Taka, a sympathetic lion of royal descent.

It would be the first time when Shah Rukh Khan would appear in any movie along with his sons Aryan and AbRam. Shah Rukh earlier, in 2019, had given the voice of Mufasa along with the Aryan’s voice for Simba in the movie The Lion King.

Bikram Duggal, Head of Studios, at Disney Star, commented on the collaboration saying, “Mufasa is more than just a character; he embodies a spirit that has inspired generations. It is interesting to have both Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan again in the movie with AbRam where this will be his first step in the industry, therefore giving a different touch to the movie. We hope Indian audiences will enjoy this incredible story with their families.”

More About The Lion King

Fans are eagerly awaiting AbRam’s voice debut alongside his father, making Mufasa: The Lion King, a truly special cinematic experience. Adding to the lineup Shreyas Talpade & Sanjay Mishra will reprise the characters Timon and Pumbaa in Hindi and this new adventure will be ever enjoyable for everyone. It is scheduled to be released in various Indian languages including English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
